The Real Alcazar

This complex of palaces was declared a World Heritage Site by the Cathedral and Archivo de Indias in 1987.it's  Located in the center of Seville close to santa cruz's district . it receives more than 1 million visits per  year. It is not only a place of great historical significance, but also constitutes one of the most beautiful and curious architectural ensembles in the country, mixing styles from Mudejar to the Renaissance.

• How to get:

• The entrance to the Real Alcázar is easily accessible by foot from the center. It is a few meters from the Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias.

• Metro: Puerta de Jerez station, L1

• Tram (Metrocentro): Plaza Nueva, T1

• Bus: lines 5, 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 30, 31, 33, 34, 53, C3 and C4 have stops nearby.

• Closed: 1 and 6 January, Good Friday and 25 December.

• Free: disabled, under 16, born or resident in Seville city and Monday from 18.00 to 19.00 (April to September) and from 16.00 to 17.00 h. (October to March).
