Seville Cathedral
Seville Cathedral, the world's third largest, is an encyclopedia of history. On its Roman base a Visigoth temple stood. Actually stay only "the Patio de los Naranjos" which in turn results heritage, along with the Giralda, the Moorish mosque on said Visigoth temple was built in time of Arab domination. However, the fundamental part, what we see today, began to be built after the Reconquest, in the eleventh century, lasting five centuries its construction. The predominant style is late Gothic and Plateresque, with important parts in Renaissance style. A highlight among its artistic treasures are the Flemish glass windows, the eleventh to the nineteenth century and the treasures of the cathedral.
Open Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 17:00, Saturdays from 11 to 16:00 and Sundays from 14:00 to 16:00
